Moveable Feast’s Culinary Training Program (CTP) provides medically tailored meals, free of charge for people with HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses in Baltimore City and 14 of the 24 counties in the State of Maryland. Many of the individuals the organization serves live in communities where there are only limited or no home delivered meal services.
CTP also provides training and employment opportunities in the food service industry for under-employed and unemployed adults in Baltimore City. The program combines classroom instruction, kitchen training, and job placement assistance, offering graduates a foundation for a successful career in food services.
The Baltimore Women’s Giving Circle grant enabled Moveable Feast's Culinary Training Program to help an additional 13 women become more self-sufficient through job training and job placement.
