Building Science Technology And Education Partnerships General Operations

Building Science Technology and Education Partnerships (Building STEPS) strives to equip our city’s brightest students with tools they need to attain college and career success.

For 16 years, Building STEPS has helped high achieving, under resourced Baltimore City students become science and technology professionals. The program currently serves 140 juniors and seniors from nine city high schools and 20 college students. Most students will be the first in their family to earn a college degree. Some will be the first in their family to graduate from high school. All students receive mentoring in professional and personal growth, financial literacy, conflict resolution, resume building and interview skills

The Baltimore Women’s Giving Circle grant allowed Building STEPS to double the number of high school students it serves.
