Service Coordinators for very low and low-income families in West Baltimore

Currently, three onsite service coordinators  provide a myriad of services to the  residents of 272 family housing units in three locations. Residents are 99% African American with 79% female heads of household, ranging in age from 21 to 98. Children range in age from 2 to 23. Coordinators enhance the lives of residents with referrals and direct services to address residents’ basic needs, including helping residents access food and medical care, find work, and fill out applications/forms, e.g., SNAP, WIC, and solve life’s everyday problems.

The BWGC grant will provide funds for these service coordinators.
