Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters Program (HIPPY)

Through HIPPY is a home-based early childhood development program for families with children ages 3-5, serving neighborhoods with below poverty levels. The program is based on a national curriculum to provide the skills parents need to prepare children for school. Its a 30-week per year, home-based early childhood development program for families with children ages three through five. Specifically targeeted for two Baltimore City neighborhoods, HIPPY is coming close to celebrating its twenty-fifth birthday in Baltimore City.

The Baltimore Women's Giving Circle grant will be used for general operating expenses.
