Higher Achievement strives to help middle-school students in under-served populations improve their grades, test scores, attendance and opportunities to attend top college preparatory high schools.
HA serves 180 middle school students in fifth through eighth grades, with year-around programming. HA’s After-School Academy offers a 26-week program during the school year that provides 650-plus hours of academic programming and support for 180 Baltimore City middle school students. HA’s Summer Academy operates five days per week for six weeks, and provides meals, snacks, and transportation.
