Power Project Afterschool Program

SFNC is the oldest neighborhood center in Baltimore City, providing free enrichment activities to families. The Power Project (PP) afterschool program enhances school curriculum with Academic support, cultural enrichment, and life skills instruction for 75+ children and their families, who  live below the federal poverty line. PP consists of four major components: education, mentoring, the arts, and human services. Reservoir Hill & Penn North (RH/PN) is in need of such support to meet the needs of and under-educated/employed, single mothers who are 74% of the Center's client base.

BWGC funds will support the expansion of the PP program.
